I have compiled JS Builder under Linux (Ubuntu 7.04 with latest mono packages).
I haven't really tested it but someone can be interested in trying it anyway.

In my ubuntu i have this:

Check that you have these:
sudo apt-get install libmono-system-runtime2.0-cil
sudo apt-get install libmono-winforms2.0-cil
