View Full Version : iframe onload property using Ext.DomHelper.append

I'm adding an iframe using this approach:

Ext.DomHelper.append(document.body, {
tag: 'iframe',
id:'downloadIframe',
frameBorder: 0,
width: 0,
height: 0,
css: 'display:none;visibility:hidden;height:0px;',
src: 'someurl'
});

I would like to execute a function when the iframe is loaded. I mean, when the page inside the iframe is rendered.

Any Idea ?

Is it a download, or is it an HTML page?

Because if it is a download, then there will be no document loaded.

Basically, what application problem are you trying to solve?

I'm new to ext-js...

I'm doing exactly the same thing as mysticav, but my url is over 2048 characters (the limitation in IE's url length). Is there ways to make it a Post instead of a Get?
