View Full Version : Bug in TreePanel beforenodedrop event?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I think it is rather confusing and not the behavior I would expect.

When dropping a node INTO (not on to) another node that happens to have child nodes, it seems that the "target" property is not identifying the parent of that node, but rather, the closest child node that I'm dropping next to.

Although the "point" property correctly identifies if I'm dropping below or above that child node, it seems to me that the "target" should be the parent, not the closest child node. If I drop ONTO the parent node, it correctly identifies that as the "target" and "point" as APPEND. But again, if I'm dropping inside of that parent, but NOT on a child, I believe the target should still be the parent. Hopefully it is understood what I'm trying to convey here.
