I execute following code

<%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8" pageEncoding="UTF-8"%>
<html>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="resources/css/ext-all.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="adapter/ext/ext-base.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="ext-all.js"></script>
<script>
Ext.onReady(function(){
new Ext.Panel({
renderTo:"hello",
title:"container",
width:600,
layout:"form",
hideLabels: false,
labelAlign:"right",
height:150,
defaultType:'textfield',
items:[{fieldLabel:"Name",name:"name"},
{fieldLabel:"Address",name:"address"},
{fieldLabel:"Tel",name:"tel"}
]
});
});
</script>
<body>
<div id="hello"/>
</body>
</html>

Question 1:After name tag,it is a textarea,but this textarea is only left,right and top line,there is no botton line! Why?

Question 2:I look up Panel API, Panel contains shadow and shadowOffset attribute, and I want to try it,so I use following statement

labelAlign:"right",
shadow:true,
shadowOffset:20,
height:150,

When I run above code,I don't find any shadow,where is wrong?

How to solve above two questions?
Thanks in advance!

1. I have no idea what you mean.

2. Shadow is only if the Panel is floating.

OK, then the questions are

Which browser?

Which ExtJS version?

Are you using any of your own CSS rules?

Because I don't see that.

IE7 rendering was a bit hit and miss.

I don't have IE7 any more, so I can't help.
