View Full Version : Open tab will reset scroll position when unfocused.

Your RSS Feed Viewer 2 example can be used to reproduce this. Click on a feed item and click "View in New Tab". Select the tab and scroll down. Select the View Feed tab and then reselect the newly opened tab and the scrollbar position is reset to the top. The scrollbar position should be maintained for each tab. It's maintained for the View Feed tab but none of the other opened tabs.

This is a bug in FireFox and iframes set to display none. There is a workaround (used by the docs center) but it hasn't been implemented in the feedviewer. Changing "hideOnLayout" to false eliminates the use of display:none, which fixes the issue.

I changed hideOnLayout to false and didn't fix the issue. Tried specifying it in the BorderLayout constructor config and as a separate statement.

Are you running in strict mode? That's how the sample is setup. If so, can you remove your doctype and retry?

No I'm not. I have no doctype declaration about my <html> tag.
