Hello All,
I am trying to use a combobox inside an editorgrid.
My setup looks like :

var grid = new Ext.grid.EditorGridPanel({
renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
stripeRows : true,
clickstoEdit: 1,
iconCls: 'icon-grid',
width:1000,
height:250,
store: store,
columns: [ {header: "Actions", width: 150, dataIndex: 'actions',editor: combo
},
{header: "Description", width: 225, dataIndex: 'accDispNm'}]

var combo = new Ext.form.ComboBox({
triggerAction: 'all',
id: 'searchBy',
mode: 'local',
store: ['Test1', 'Test2'],
listeners: {
'select': function(){
alert(combo.value);
}
}
}) ;

Now when i gird is initially rendered in order to showup the combo and start editing i need atleast 3 click for the process to complete.
Is there any way i can reduce it to 2 clicks. That is when i click on the cell the combo should be expanded and on next click i can select my item.

Please advise,

Thank you.

Is your complaint:

click 1: display editor
click 2: display drop down via trigger click
click 3: select an item

?

My problem is :
Can the steps 1 & 2 be merged into a single click, so that the user doesnt need a total of 3 click for editing.
Please advise.

Thanks,

You could configure your combobox to expand when focussed.
