Hallo !

can you tell me what is the best way/tool to inspect the DOM and find any Ext Element you want.

Let's say I have a radiobutton with the id "myradiobutton" .. and I want do see how it is styled, what child- or parent elements it has and so on. The DOM structure is so deep therefore I was not able to find it.

Can someone tell me how you do it or is there any toll with a search option ?

Thank you !

Firebug: Right click on it, and "Inspect Element"

Chrome Developer Tools: ditto

IE8 debugger, go to the HTML tab, and you can activate a "find element" mode where it highlights on mouseover, and on click, shows that in the HTML tab.

Opera has similar tools.
