View Full Version : Preventing orientation changes?

So, I'm having a lot of trouble with floating panels and orientation changes and a tab bar that just likes to keep disappearing, and I was wondering if it is possible to just stop the website from rotating when the user rotates their phone. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks beforehand!

This shouldn't happen, what does your code look like?

Basically, I have a whole bunch of panels that I hide or show depending on where the user is in the application. One of these panels is called the "mainPanel" which the user gets to after logging in on the login page. This main panel has a toolbar that has 4 tabs and a docked "logout" button. When the program is started, the main panel is hidden, as are any of the panels that are inside it. Once the user logs in, the main panel is shown, and the toolbar(which should be at the bottom) is moved to the top of the page with the setPosition command. The panels that are in the tabbed panel are then also shifted to reflect this change. This entire system works, but the problem arises if the user rotates their phone on the login screen and then enters the main panel. The toolbar then shows up as a vertical black line bar in the top left corner, and the docked logout button disappears. Which section of the code would you like to see? There is too much to put the whole thing in one post. Thanks for the reply!
