View Full Version : Render Viewport to Div-Container

Caution I Am Hot

Hello,

I am new to Ext and I startet to create a Viewport.

I found the viewport automatically renders to the document body.

But I want to build some HTML around the ExtJs-Application (Viewport) so I need a way to render the viewport explicitly to a div-Container? How can this be achived?

Thank you very much in advance!!

I am using a Gridpanel, viewport supports automatic resize, but container doesnt support it,
but i am forced to use container as I have to use the Header and Footer for my website,
So how to implement the automatic resize of the grid, on window resize in a container

If you need to support Chrome it's best to go ahead and dump ExtJS as they are no longer supporting Chrome (see http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?198124-Grids-are-rendered-differently-in-upcoming-versions-of-Google-Chrome and https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=124816).

Where exactly it should be?
I have similar problem. Make render Ext.app to div I can't find how it possible do?

launch: function () {
Ext.define('Container', {
extend: 'Ext.container.Container',
layout: 'anchor',
renderTo: 'grid',

items: [
{
title: 'Hello Ext',
html : this
}
]
});

//this.getView('Ext.container.Container').create();
Nor First nor second(commented) way can't help with it.
