I made this app for the 2010 Echo Conference (http://www.echoconference.com/). It was a great experience to work with something as polished as Sencha Touch, even though it was in Beta 0.91. I went into it knowing nothing about ExtJS, but learned a great deal in the process.

I got really positive feedback from conference attendees and staff. I look forward to building on this again next year, hopefully with better features and support.

I really like what you did with this. I have a mini conference that I am doing at work and this would be great to implement for information purposes. Did your data come from a database or is it all static in the .js files?

I started out trying to pull everything in from file exported by my CMS, but that just proved to be too cumbersome for something that was only going to exist for one year. Plus, I had trouble getting the cache.manifest stuff to work, so I figured it would be more performant if it was all static in the js.

Hi Dan,

A very nice app. I was wondering if you would mind sharing the source code? I am trying to do exactly what you did with the list - Click on list -> Slide to content, not another list.

So if you can't share the source code, could you perhaps just shed some light on this one thing for me?

Thanks in advance,
Matan Heimann.

Hello again,

I have just remembered that this JS, not a server-side language and I could just view the source (yes, I feel like an *****).

It's been a transition generating content within JS and not simply using JS to animate PHP generated content and markup.

Thanks for sharing the app Dan,
Matan Heimann.

The Echo app looks great. I'm wondering if you had any issues with Android users?

I'm very seriously looking to build an app like this, but on my Android test machine there are lots of issues.

Thanks,
Kenny
