View Full Version : Startbutton icon position too low

24 Aug 2010, 1:20 PM

I'm new to this and just started a few days ago to work with the gxt. I have got a wierd problem with the startbutton-icon.gif. It is placed too low.

Here is a screenshot from chrome with the generated html and css: http://picasaweb.google.de/lh/photo/LdYiQ9rnQkAxfurxuZaQLg?feat=directlink

The developer tools mark the boundaries of the pictures. The blank gif just push the icon to south. I tried to force the use of the slate theme but there was no effect.

The Desktop instance is clearly fresh and untouched... I specified the inheritance of the Desktop and Themes packages and the gxt-all.css and desktop.css are included in html file.

What is my mistake?

Best regards,
Matt. K.

Which version of GXT are you using? I just tried this out with 2.1.3 and 2.2 RC1 and cannot reproduce this in chrome here: http://www.sencha.com/examples-dev/desktop.html

Sry, forgot to post the version numbers. I use GWT 2.0.4 and GXT 2.1.1

This version uses 2.1.1: http://www.sencha.com/examples/desktop.html

Does that work correctly for you?

It looks great.

Can you upload some eclipse project here that has all needed files expect the jars and demonstrates your problem?

It works.. Just had to clean the output and war folder completely. Maybe there was something that GWT has not updated even if forced...
Thanks for your quick help.
