View Full Version : Adding custom controls to Dialog object's header

I need to add custom controls to the header section of the Dialog object. Specifically, ... I need to add the label "close" along with the "X" button used to close the dialog. None of the methods exposed on Dialog let me do it via the API. Is there a work around for this issue ?

dialog.getHeader().addTool(new Label("test"));

Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried this to begin with ... but the addTool takes a Component ... not a Label.

Use the GXT Label component, not the one from GWT.

If you want to use the one from GWT, wrap it into a WidgetComponent

That worked like a charm. Thanks a lot.
