View Full Version : why dynamically loaded combobox is limited to 15 items only?

There is probably a very simple solution to this, hopefully someone can help me.

I am creating some dynamically loaded comboboxes in an application, it's loading data from a mysql database, but no matter how many records are in the database, the combobox drop down list only shows 15 items.

one example below, there is more than 200 countries in the database, but only top 15 is showing up.

countryCombo = new Ext.form.ComboBox({
triggerAction: 'all',
minChars : 1,
valueField : 'country_id',
displayField: 'country_name',
queryParam : 'q',
store : ExtMVC.getModel("Country").find()

After adding a property
pageSize : 300,

it shows all 200+ countries but with a little pagination toolbar at the bottom with page 1 of 1. Is there anyway to have the combobox show all items but without that pagination toolbar?

Thank you very much!

This must be some server issue on your side. Does your server only return 15 records if no 'limit' parameter is specified?

Thanks, I am not familiar with extMVC, I will look into the results for that getModel call.
