View Full Version : Restore TreeGrid state on page refresh

9 Sep 2010, 2:22 PM

I am very new to Ext JS, and I was wondering how to save the state if tree grid (expanded vs collapsed nodes), so that when user navigates away from the page and then comes back, the tree grid is in the same state as the user left it.

For example, for array grid Ext can save columns widths in the cookies, can smth like that be done for the tree grid?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is nothing build into Ext for this. You will have to save and restore this information yourself.

ps. Remember that cookies have a limited size. Don't use it for big trees.
