Hello,

For some reason HtmlEditor's width is not set to 'auto', although I setup:

var form = new Ext.FormPanel({
labelWidth:80,
frame:false,
defaultType:'textfield',
autoWidth: true,
autoHeight: true,
collapsible: false,
cls: 'chat_form',
items:[
new Ext.form.HtmlEditor({
hideLabel:true,
name:'message',
enableSourceEdit:false,
enableAlignments:false,
enableLinks:false,
enableLists:false,
enableFont:false, // until we can figure out spacing issues, TODO
fontFamilies:["Verdana","Arial","Helvetica","Times New Roman","Comic Sans MS","Courier New"],
autoWidth: true,
...

What could be the reason of such behavior?

The layout of a container size child items/

FormLayout extends AnchorLayout.

Excuse me, I did not understand. Could you describe in more details?
In AnchorLayout I only found:

anchorSize option.

Did you mean it? Can I set it to "auto"?

What are you expecting that autoWidth:true does? (I'm almost certain that you are thinking it's something completely different).

Animal pointed you to the fact that you included your HtmlEditor in a FormLayout, so you could configure it with an anchor, e.g.

anchor: '100%'
