View Full Version : [DUPE-318] Markers clicking is very slow in Android 2.1

21 Sep 2010, 2:02 PM
Sencha Touch version tested:

0.9 rev 5

only default ext-all.css

Platform tested against:

Android 2.1

Clicking (or possibly double-clicking) a marker will eventually bring up an info window (that says 'Sencha HQ') but it takes a very long time and it's inconsistent.

Test Case:

Use the code from http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples/map/

See this URL : http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples/map/

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Go to http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/examples/map/
Click the marker

The result that was expected:

The info window that says 'Sencha HQ' should appear quickly and reliably.

The result that occurs instead:

Clicking the marker only sometimes works. When it does, the info window takes a very long time to appear.

Debugging already done:

Note that clicking a marker and getting an info window works quite quickly on the same phone using the Google Maps example here http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/infowindow-simple.html

Thanks for the bug report. I also notice the same bug on my Nexus One running 2.2.
