So I'm new to Sencha Touch...

I've been playing around with the list demo in the kitchen sink and able to get to the point where when you click on a specific contact, a new page loads and displays basic text (ie: mobile number, work number, etc.)

I was wondering if anyone knew of any other examples like this? I want to add the functionality where it would display the phone numbers similar to the native iphone UI and then if you click the phone number it would call the number right from the app? and same with sending and email, or even a txt message.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid for now you'll have to do that manually.

See the doc for tel:
http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#featuredarticles/iPhoneURLScheme_Reference/Articles/PhoneLinks.html
(as well as the other options in the table of content, mail link, text link)

Read also about Microdata ( http://www.sencha.com/blog/2010/07/06/the-html5-family-microdata-overview/ ) even if Safari on ios doesn't really implement that yet (but tel: is fully implemented).

jmdesp, thanks for the quick response!

The doc for tel helps alot but I'm still looking for a nice contact app as a whole... looked a lot and haven't found one.

I'll keep those links in mind when building the final version.

Thanks again.

in the 0.96 release there is a demo for list-search.
