View Full Version : Nested List

Hi All,

Does anybody know how to run/build the nestedlist structure included in the Kitchensink examples without using the navigation panel placed on the left. In the example, the nestedlist application is triggered by the click on the navigation panel.

I would like to achieve the nested list application on windows onload event without being triggered by the left navigation panel or triggered by a button click event. I also would like to remove the left navigation panel as well.

Any ideas? Please let me know asp because I am due to start working on a sencha touch project which starts from the nested list basically.

Yeah I need this feature too. I'm starting with a HOME panel which has a button. This button slides to a second LIST panel and loads AJAX XML and creates a list. All of these list items simply slide to a DETAIL panel and show the detail info. I'm finding the new nested list example not helpful either. It's too feature rich and not enough comments about what is going on and why.

The latest demo app for Sencha Touch is ShopStyle (http://www.shopstyleapp.com/), based on the popular lifestyle native app for iPhone and iPad. Our web app showcases an “infinite carousel”, a new feature of our carousel component. The major feature of the infinite carousel is active DOM management that keeps the web app within the iPad’s memory limits.

I've found that the Kitchen Sink application turns the navigation NestedList into a floating window and it disappears. If you experiment with the iPad simulator, you may find out how and why this happens.

As it is, I would like the left navigation menu to stick around. I would like to see the same thing as I do in a browser when I run it in PhoneGap and the iPad simulator.

I've tried changing the results to Ext.is.phone but I've had no luck. If anyone has any suggestions please send them.
