View Full Version : [CLOSED] Cannot Hide Title or Header in ExtJS 3.2.2 Ext.Panel (IE8 Compat mode)

This was working in ExtJS 3.2.1 but now in ExtJS 3.2.2 Panel Header cannot be hidden and a small horizontal bar (div) is still displayed inspite of trying all the following for the Panel config -

1. title : false
2. header : false
3. headerCfg : false

I guess this is IE8 compatibility mode issue and in place of the title/header there is a div cisible with = "x-panel-tl"

Ext doesn't support compatibility mode (there is no real reason to use it anyway - if you build the page yourself you can specify if it should be rendered as IE7 or IE8).

Marking this as closed. I'm not able to reproduce the issue with the current SVN (7245) release.

new Ext.Panel({
renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
width: 400,
html: '<p>test</p>',
border: true,
height: 300
});

If it continues to fail, try setting unstyled to false.

As suggested by Condor, specify the IE version in the header. The meta tags must be placed before any script tags.
