Hi,
i'm trying to open a new window (EXTJS) outside another window(EXTJS), but when i launch it, it apears inside the first window and i can't move it outside the first window...

My question is, it's posible to make that the second window could go outside the first?, if yes... how?

thanks in advance.

That is the default behaviour. You are specifically doing that by rendering the second window to the first window instead of to the document body.

did you try modal :true for Window property?

I add this pic so as i can describe what i want to do....

23015

I need to open the last window so as not be cropped with his parent window(second window), i need to see the last window like new unique window.

Let me know if you need more info, for more information, i copy here the code i'm using.

var ventana = new Ext.Window({
title: "<? echo $nombre; ?>",
width:1050,
height:600,
closeAction:'hide',
maximizable : true,
bodyCfg: {
tag: 'iframe',
src: 'pagina.php',
style: {border: '0px none'}},
buttons: [{text: 'Cerrar', handler: function(){ventana.destroy();}}]});
ventana.show(this);

Yes, that's what you get when you use IFRAMEs.

Try creating your window with:

var win = new top.Ext.Window({...});

Yes, that's what you get when you use IFRAMEs.

var win = new top.Ext.Window({...});

i had try it, but in the second window works properly, but i need to use it on the third window, where that doesn't work....(using the firebug, i get error and say "this container is null"

any other idea? or i'm making something wrong?

thanks
