Hi,

At this moment I block my whole page with a wait message when Iím loading a control. It should be enough to block only the container that is hosting the control. Is there a way to use a waitmessage on the container?
Thanks
Patrick

Not a wait message exactly, but you can use a Ext.LoadMask bound to a store to mask an element when the store will be loading (you don't have to use it together with a store)

If you want to manually (or on an event) mask something, you can load the mask to the body or el property of a container. Body will not mask the dockedItems I believe but the el will mask the entire container.

cmp.el.mask()
cmp.body.mask()
