Sencha Touch version tested:

0.9 rev __8__

only default ext-all.css
custom css (very minimal layout such as padding)

Platform tested against:

Android 2.2

Description:

When first loading an application using an android 2.2 samsung galaxy S the application dimensions are too short. The height of the application does not take up the entire screen. This used to be fixable by firing an orientation change, but in the latest release this appears to be broke. (see earlier bug report). Currently the app is rendered with whitespace in the bottom that appears to be the same dimensions as the url bar would take up.

Test Case:

See this URL : http://ifinancials.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:

visit the url using a samsung galaxy s

The result that was expected:

the application should take up the entire screen.

The result that occurs instead:

There is white space on the bottom.

Debugging already done:

none

Possible fix:

not provided

If need be I can walk over and show you this behavior. I'm located above the university art store on hamilton. I know you probably don't have a glut of android devices.
