Hello,

This is probably a newbie question but I am getting trouble to use packages. :-/

I have one Ext.Window with an Ext.form.FormPanel in it, with several Ext.form.TextField, one Ext.form.DateField and finally one Ext.Button for submit.
So I though that I just had to include the following to get everything working :
ext-3.3.0\adapter\ext\ext-base-debug.js
ext-3.3.0\pkgs\window-debug.js
ext-3.3.0\pkgs\pkg-forms-debug.js
ext-3.3.0\pkgs\pkg-buttons-debug.js
myscript.js

But it seems this isn't that simple.

As I don't see topics like this I think that either everyone use ext-all.js or I am missing something obvious. :">

Can someone give me the guide-lines about "how to chose your ext packages when you know the components you need ?".

Thanks for any light :)

You'll have to test, but you probably need:

adapter/ext/ext-base.js
pkgs/ext-core.js
pkgs/ext-foundation.js
pkgs/cmp-foundation.js
pkgs/ext-dd.js
pkgs/data-foundation.js
pkgs/direct.js
pkgs/resizable.js
pkgs/window.js
pkgs/pkg-buttons.js
pkgs/pkg-toolbars.js
pkgs/pkg-forms.js

ps. Most people who don't use ext-all.js, build their own .js file using JSBuilder2.

Thank you for this quick and complete answer.

It is working fine with those packages.

You were able to tell me this just out of your mind or you have a trick ? :p

"Light a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...."
or something like that :D

I'll probably head to JSBuilder2 btw.

JSBuilder uses the ext.jsb2 file. I just looked in this file for the definition for ext-all.js and choose all packages that were related to your app (I probably choose too many).
