View Full Version : Sencha Touch for iPad: Supress orientation change

30 Nov 2010, 4:19 AM
Hi People,

I am developing a 3d carousel for iPad for a customer using Sencha framework and it's been made for a landscape size.

Now I want to supress a orientation change in Sencha, so it's not going to change from landscape format to a portrait format when when I rotate the iPad 90.

It possible to supress an orientation change, letting the UI stay as it is without iPad's orientation lock?

Any idea for this?

It's been posted here on the forums before.

If you're using Phonegap, you can.

Not really. The only possibility is to notify the user to use the orientation lock on the iPad.

Orentation happens if orentation lock is not on.
