Hello all,

I have a group or <input>'s, and im listening to its focus event to show up a custom little keyboard.

Is it possible to disable the virtual keyboard to apear on for example android or ios?

Ive try to setup the readonly flag and inputType=none, but it is showing the keyboard anyway.

When using disabled, then it does not apear, but the focus event will not trigger.

Any tips welcome!..

Thanks.

I had the same problem and solved it this way. I wanted a Ext.form.Text containing a number to be called if it gets the focus.
Call this function for example like this: "createFormItem("mobile", "555", "tel");"

createFormItem: function(labelText, number, protocol)
{
var html = '<div class="x-form-label" style="width: 30%"><span>' + labelText + '</span></div>';
html += '<div class="x-form-field-container" style="padding-top: 9px;background-color:white;"><a class="linkOnButton" href="' + protocol + ':' + number + '">' + number + '</a></div>'
var text = new Ext.form.Text(
{
label: labelText,
value: number,
html: html
});

return text;
}

CSS:

.linkOnButton
{
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, Tahoma;
color: black;
text-decoration: none;
background-color: white;
}

.x-field>.x-form-label
{
text-align: right;
color: rgb(88,97,128);
}

Hope, this works for you as well.
