View Full Version : Updater.update() not setting body / content-length?

Hi,

I'm using the load() method of a tooltip (which, as far as I understood, internally call Updater.update()) to update it's contents. I've noticed that when using POST method, neither the request body, nor the content-length is being set (inspected using Fiddler). What is strange here is that the method does NOT default to "POST" as soon as the params option is specified, although documented otherwise. Here's the code I'm using:

this.load({
url: "../services/common/reportservice.svc/json/GetObjectProperties",
method: "POST",
params: {
objectId: 'foo',
when: 'bar'
},
nocache: false,
callback: function (el, success, response, options) {
...
this.update("...");
}
});

Where "this" is the tooltip. Am I missing something obvious?
