Hi!

It is the first time I need to build a big app that will have lots of context changes and I am not sure what UI architecture I should adopt. For example, let's say you have to build the sencha.com website in ExtJS. The context (main view) will almost change each time a link is getting clicked. What would be a good way to handle the context transitions?

Should I load new content using Ajax? And what's the best practice for doing that? (what is getting loaded, scripts? component config? ...) Or should I use a container with a card-layout that has all the layouts already and change the active item each time a link is clicked, like a tab-panel?

Thanks!

for big application that work like a CMS i would recommend qWikiOffice.

take a look: http://www.qwikioffice.com/

it takes some time to adopt to the guidlines but it is worth it and it has build in user, group and access rights management.
