View Full Version : Badge shows up over the wrong tab

So this is strange... I have a test app where everything works perfectly except that I have a tab bar consisting of 3 tabs, and when I specify badgeText for the second one, it shows up over the third one. :-/ I stripped it down to make it as simple as possible and it still does the same thing.

Here is the relevant code:

var test = new Ext.TabPanel({
fullscreen: true,
ui: 'light',
items: [{
id: 'a',
title: 'Tab 1',
html: 'Tab 1'

},
{
id: 'b',
title: 'Tab 2',
badgeText: '1',
html: 'Tab 2'
},
{
id: 'c',
title: 'Tab 3',
html: 'Tab 3'
}],
dockedItems: [{
dock: 'top',
xtype: 'toolbar',
title: 'Test Tabs'

}]

});
}
});

Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my code?

Can anyone take a look at this?

Hmm, it seems this was moved to bugs and then back again... anyone?

Guys, I still have not solved this or received a reply... we are evaluating Sencha for a commercial app and while we don't mind purchasing support, we need to have some confidence in the code base first. Would appreciate some timely help on this and a couple of other issues I've posted.

Currently the badge text works best when you dock the tab panel's tab bar to the bottom rather than the top

I came up with a work-around for this issue in this thread. (http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?125039-Badge-shows-up-in-the-wrong-place&p=584463#post584463)
