View Full Version : Safari's nav bar becomes slightly visible when a form field is selected

Hi all,

I'm building a Touch app that opens up initially to a panel used to search for nearby venues. The panel contains a docked FormPanel containing a search Ext.form.Search instance, and another "normal" item which is a List of the venues found.

Though the panel loads up as expected, taking up the entire screen and hiding Safari's nav bar (I'm using that browser's "apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style" meta tag to ensure it), the nav bar appears once I click on the search field. Here are some before/after screenshots:

After the search completes and I start scrolling through results, Safari's nav bar hides itself again. Ideally, the nav bar would *stay* hidden during the entire experience; I believe that's what Sencha is designed for, anyway.

Any suggestions for how to fix this, or at least effectively debug it, would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Brent
