How to add or create event (*stop* writing in caps!)

HI.
I have a pging tool bar now i want to create a event which actvates when we press refresh button.My requirement is to display an alert message when we refresh the grid ....Is this thing possible in extjs if yes then plz let me know how to do it.......

the first thing is to stop writing in call caps! It's considered yelling and rude!


You're going to have to extend the paging toolbar ( look at the source ) to fire the custom event when the refresh button is pressed.
