View Full Version : Client Cached or Buffered AjaxProxy

I am looking for a buffered or cached AjaxProxy - or RestProxy, and can't as yet find one.

The use case is a GET will look in local storage for the url and if it isn't there or has expired then the ajax request is made.

PUT's or POST's can either be write through, or persisted in the local storage and then the Ajax request to send the updates can be triggered later (or as the device detects a connection).

Does anyone know if this exists or not? It doesn't look like writing one would be too hard, but it must be a common use case, so I'm guessing I just haven't found it.

Ok - no dice.

Any I'll have a search for good examples of overriding proxies

It does not yet exist. I have written ways to do it so it can be done. This is one thing I cannot release due to it being built for client.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply. I'll start looking into one.

Probably take me 5x longer than you though.
