Hi,
I have a request that fails. I logged the response status that is -1 :

console.log('server-side failure with status code ' + response.status);

I don't know what this means

Could anyone give me the signification of -1 value

And where can I get the list of possible status values

Thank you in advance for your answers

Hi,
I logged the response.responseText but it gives me the error : "transaction aborted"

How to know exactly why the transaction is aborted

That really seems like a server-side issue.

Google:

site:sencha.com sencha "transaction aborted"

For example: http://www.sencha.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-21311.html

Hi fay and thank you for your answer,
Actually, I checked that the request is aborted before the server has sent its response
The server is still working when I have the "aborted" message
The request abort after 32 seconds
Is there a timeout ?
If it is the case is there a way to bypass the timeout ?

Furthermore the length of the response is 38400 characters sent with "text/html"
Isn't it too long ?

I found the solution : effectively, there is a timeout of 30 s by default. I set another timeout
