View Full Version : LoadMask removes focus from pagingToolbar buttons (IE7)

Perhaps the paging toolbar was not designed for keyboard-control but it works fine in our application except in IE7. In IE7, when hitting the enter or space key and activating a button, the focus on the "Next page" button (for example) is lost after the load mask has been shown (and then hidden again - when the loading has finished). In other browsers the focus is not changed as a result of showing the load mask.

Focus is not visible for GridPanels by default in webkit browsers (as Chrome) but still focus remains unchanged. If the css is altered to show focus outlines this can be verified.

Hitting the tab key after the store and gridPanel has been refreshed with a new page doesnt bring you to the next "tabable" element in IE7 it instead starts the tab order from the beginning of the document (the <body> seems to be the element that has focus).

Any idea why focus is changed in IE7?

I've also described it in this thread (http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?123919-LoadMask-changes-focus-%28IE7%29&p=570777).
