View Full Version : Tree fails in Firefox and Chrome but works in MSIE

I used the reorder example in order to test my tree.
I used a JSON node provider on a different system.
When it runs in MSIE it works but from Firefox and Chrome it fails.
The problem seems to be related to the OPTIONS method invoked by ExtJs against the server for Firefox but not for MSIE : this method is not recognized by my server and the call fails with a 501 error.
I tried creating my own TreeLoader (see below) but nothing changed.
How can I solve that issue ?

Ext.onReady(function(){
// shorthand
var Tree = Ext.tree;

var tl = new Tree.TreeLoader({
dataUrl: 'http://vaindustria/pls/visdocsv/svil_portal.UTL_ALBERO.JSON_ESPANDI_NODO',
requestMethod : 'POST'
})

var tree = new Tree.TreePanel({
useArrows: true,
autoScroll: true,
animate: true,
enableDD: true,
containerScroll: true,
border: false,
loader: tl,
root: {
nodeType: 'async',
text: 'Ext JS',
draggable: false,
id: 'src'
}
});

// render the tree
tree.render('tree-div');
tree.getRootNode().expand();
});
