Is there a way to mask a panel and add a button in the middle of it? Probably simple but cant get my head around it. I can mask the panel but cant add the button

What I want to is something similar to this.http://kubiktech.net\maskwithbutton.png. I know I have to play with the css but dont understand how to add the button.

Hi,
you can use Ext.Window with config modal:true

It will create a mask in the background of your window....also you may put whatever you want in your window...a button, label or anything...

I believe that the mask() method support passing in html so doing the following would be possible but the button would look like a standard html button not a ExtJS button.



ExtCmp.getEl().mask('<p align="center">Message Goes Here<p><p align="center"><input type="button" value="Button" /></p>' );



Your best bet it to use either a Ext.Window with modal: true or a custom Ext.MessageBox.
