You should be able to just print the page with the browser (there's a couple of IE printing issues with shadows we should have fixed soon). We are looking to having a png/jpg generator at some point.

PDF/XLS support would be helpful as well.

No, I wont use the browser's standard print method (File -> Print), because that will print the chart along with the entire application layout (tabs, menus, header, footer, collapsible panel, etc).

All I (and the others for sure) need is an ability of the chart itself to print WYSIWYG without its container nor others application components/widgets.

One example you may take a look is a Highcharts (http://www.highcharts.com/demo/), it has a print and download (as png/jpg/pdf file) ability. While you print the Highcharts' chart, it just print what you see in its canvas, not the entire app.

And, ah! The png/jpg generator.. you may take a look at Batik SVG Toolkit (http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/batik/). Hope it will help you out guys :)

We can print Charts if we use preview of ExtJS4.

Hi,
I tried using the edspencer Ext.ux.Printer plugin . It seems to be not working.
New window open but there is no data apart from label from last column chart. Interesting when i check the html code it has lat of vml tags but theya re not displayed and this is only in case of IE. there is no source in case of Firefox.

Any one has tried printing ExtJs 4.0 charts.

Please help me out !!!!
