Hi Im new here

Please help me create a login with username and password which will validate the user and retrieve user information from mysql and display it into a form fields.

where exactly are you stuck? Are you asking for a full example on how to configure an Ext JS application that includes login?

start with a modal window drawing the form and make an ajax request. Use the response to continue with main app.

@jgarcia: Do you have a complete example implementing php and mysql with extjs? I want to retrieve teh values userid, username, firstname and accesscode and pass it to a form or variable so i could use it to filter the user's access on the application.

@steffenk: I could do that but how do I get the data/values retrieved? I want to pass the values to a variable.

bad idea! Then i inspect the response in firebug and have access to all users!

Start looking to the forms using a request, seems you have to learn the essentials first.
Seqarch the forum, there are a lot of examples available.
