Hi,

In ExtJS 4 pr2 Ext.Ajax.abort raises failure handler

var tId = Ext.Ajax.request({url:'fake', failure : function(){alert('fail');}});
Ext.Ajax.abort(tId);

The same code in ExtJS 3.3.1 doesn't raise failure handler.
Is it correct behaviour in ExtJS 4?

Yes, this was done intentionally. In fact, it's how 3.x should have been.
