I have a treepanel in a border-layout viewport. Normally I can resize the panel with a splitbar.
But I want to use something like the ThumbView in SproutCore.

Can it be implemented in ExtJS?

I don't think so but I have done it setting some styles. You can get the splitbar's width to be 1px (5px is default) and then you have to move the center region's location back by 4px.

ThumbView in sprotcore framework is a handler for resizing something. Just like a splitbar transformed to a small square(may be 12px * 12px) and moved to some place else.

here is a screenshot of one of my project using sproutcore.

btw: finally i implemented this by handling dnd events, but it's not perfect. doLayout() everytime event 'dragging' triggered causes high cpu usage. and it's not pleasing to the eye if doLayout() when 'enddrop'.
