Hello,

I am attempting to use the Dynamic Grid Columns tutorial posted at the Sencha site to use database query results to dynamically build grid column definitions and to reload the data store used to populate the grid. The grid appears to be rendered correctly, with the correct column names and data fields being filled into the table cells, but Firebug shows that the rendered column and data tables are 'greyed' out, and are not visible in the grid container panel.

I have noticed that the divs containing the individual table cells have display set to none, but don't understand why the table cells are not simply rendered and visible. How do I make them visible in my browser. I use the following code to render the grid to the border layout panel.

function build_grid() {
grid = new Ext.grid.GridPanel(
{
title:'Query Results',
id:'query_grid',
ds: ds,
cm: column_model,
//autoSizeColumns: true,
width:600,
height: 300,
columnLines:true
}
);
var query_resultset= Ext.getCmp('query_results');
query_resultset.removeAll();
query_resultset.add(grid);
query_resultset.doLayout();
query_resultset.show();
grid.show();
grid.render();
}

where query_result is a panel in a border layout

Thanks,...
