Hi all,
I'm using the localization mechanism to have basic items (fields and so on) localized, especially when validating after form submission.

var head = Ext.fly(document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0]);
Ext.DomHelper.append(head, {
tag: 'script',
type: 'text/javascript',
src: Ext.uirnet.clientLeggero.getQueryStringPart('i18n') + '/uirnet/lib/extjs/src/locale/ext-lang-' + lang + '.js'
});

The strange thing is that I always obtain English validation messages and not Italian even if they are present in the corresponding files.
Moreover under FF this issue is not present, everything works fine.

Does anybody have any suggestion?
Thanks,
Andrea

Why post in 2 threads? Just amend the first one if you missed something

I tried to find sonething about the issue but, for example, this link is not working:
http://www.sencha.com/learn/Tutorial:Localizing_Ext
(http://www.sencha.com/learn/Tutorial:Localizing_Ext)
I also noticed that also sorting on grids and calendar are in EN and not in IT

Update
Even if the localization file is appended to the head of the HTML document, the only way I get the various components correctly localized is when I force using firebug (but it happens also on IE debug) the execution of the content of ext-lang-it.js.
It seems that it is not executed when reading the head block of the page...

Any hint on that?
Thanks
