What do you mean by "keyboard navigation"? That's a bit vague.

Have you looked at the keys (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/dev/docs/?class=Ext.tree.TreePanel) config option, e.g.,

var tree = new Ext.tree.TreePanel({
// ...
keys: {
key: 27, // Esc key
handler: function(){ console.log('ESC pressed'); },
scope: this
}
});
