View Full Version : Documentation Issue with Loading Search Results

19 Apr 2011, 8:18 AM
Clicking on individual search results in the Sencha Touch API Documentation (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/docs/) often brings a page with a spinning icon, and text "Loading..." that doesn't load even after many minutes. This makes it very hard to use the search function in the Touch documentation.

Platform tested against:

Chrome 11.0.696.50 in Mac OS X 10.6.7
Firefox 4.0 in Windows Vista Business SP 2
IE 9.0.8112.16421 in Windows Vista Business SP 2

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Go to http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/touch/docs/
In the Search box, have "Starts with" selected and type, for example, "waitMsg"
Click any of "waitMsg" results. I chose the one by "Ext.form.Action.Submit".
See the spinning loading screen.

The result that was expected:
Expected to see detailed information about the item that was selected

The result that occurs instead:
Spinning Loading... page

Thank you for any assistance with this, it does not happen with everything in the documentation that I search on, but often clicking on search results gives the loading page.
