View Full Version : Ext.Carousel - Setting it to a given slide?

I'm setting up a carousel for a project, the content coming from a PDF with a table of contents and sections, etc. Each page/slide in the carousel will be one of the sections allowing users to swipe from page to page.

So here's the question:
How do I set up my Table of Contents page to jump to a given section (and then likewise a back button in the toolbar to jump back to the TOC?)

The documentation (http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/dev/docs/) is rather poor, seeing as it doesn't have a listing for the Ext.Carousel class.

I don't know what property or method to reference, or even really, how to get a reference TO the carousel itself. Nevermind, have a reference.

Ext.Carousel is a user extension and is not directly supplied by the Sencha development team.

Try poking around here for help: http://www.sencha.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?42-Ext-User-Extensions-and-Plugins

Really now?
How can I tell that it's a user extension? (Seeing as all I did was download the stuff off the main page and start following a tutorial also listed on the main page, and the Carousel works).

If you look at the source files, you'll usually note user contributed extensions are packaged as 'Ext.ux.SomeComponentName'.

Because, you know, as a new user, I'd totally be looking at the source files. 8-|
