View Full Version : Ext.isIE6() returns TRUE for IE9

(Note: there should be no parentheses after isIE6 in the thread title)

I am running an application on 3.3.1 in IE 9.0 and Ext.isIE6 is returning as true. Because of this, the "ext-ie6" class is being applied to the body of the page and screwing up the display of many Ext components. I am not running IE9 in compatibility mode or anything like that, it is running in its standard mode. Any reason why this would be happening?

I'm having this same issue with 3.4.0, I thought it would be resolved. Anyone know?

When viewing my app in IE9 the body still has the class "ext-ie6".

I just realized my issue. I had update from 3.3 to 3.4 but forgot to update the ext-jquery-adapter.js to the new one in 3.4. I just updated my ext-jquery-adapter.js file to the new 3.4 version and it fixed the issues.

Hope this helps someone else out if they make the same dumb mistake I did.
