I've created a web application and tested it in IE 9. The log in window works perfectly but after logging in the other components won't show, it does not load at all, only a white page is showing. When I turn on the debugging option in IE I got this error message:

Line: 7
Error: Unable to get value of the property 'events': object is null or undefined

Please help me find the solution for this. :( My application works fine in other browsers. :((

IE9 support is coming with 3.3.3 I believe which is available to support customers currently.

No plans set in stone yet. 3.3.2 hasn't been released yet :)

Try this in your <head> section.

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />

Ext 3.2.1 works for me in IE9. I have one bug in the application that occurs in the framework that I'm going to track down.

In the meantime, the top of my HTML document looks like this:

<!-- turn on quirks mode for IE -->
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

Try it and see if it helps.

Besides your one bug, that's it? Was getting the impression that it was more than that from the core devs. Positive thing for those that aren't support subscribers (which you should be! ;) ) is that this update will bug fixes... Should be 3.3.3 that gets released so we may be skipping 3.3.2 for GA and going straight to 3.3.3. Given some community love!

Seems like a dangling comma in my code. Not sure why the code stopped inside ExtJS.

I'm basically reporting that IE9 is running my Ext-3.2.1 app correctly.

Nice man! Now it works for the .1% out there running IE9 hahaha Still an improvement from previous versions of IE so hopefully if people are going to stick with IE they will upgrade sooner than later.

I'm quite convinced the headers and doctype I use is setting IE into quirks and compatibility modes, hence Ext just works.
