I have a component that contains an image:

new Ext.Component({
id: 'Image1',
html: "<div style='text-align:center'><img src='/images/image1.png' border='0' /></div>"
})

To start the animation, I use a button:

new Ext.button.Button({
text: 'Click me',
handler: function ()
{
Ext.getCmp('Image1').animate({
to: {
opacity: 0
}

,

duration: 2000,
dynamic: true
});
}
})

That works just perfect with Google Chrome 11 and also with Firefox 4. But the Internet Explorer 9 does nothing at all.
