IM trying to print the centerPanel. Ive searched through the forum and I see some others having issues. I found a post that said to use this function.

//print function
this.print = function() {
var r = DemoApp.ui.layout.regions;

DemoApp.ui.layout.beginUpdate();
r.west.hide();
r.south.hide();
DemoApp.ui.layout.endUpdate();

window.print();

DemoApp.ui.layout.beginUpdate();
r.west.show();
r.south.show();
DemoApp.ui.layout.endUpdate();
};

The problem is that the print function only displays what is currently visible on the screen in the center panel. I need the entire document including the overlfow. I reseached the window.print call and there is also a "window.onbeforeprint" and a "window.onafterprint" call. Only I dont know java well enough to create those functions to display the entire page in the centerPanel.

Can anyone lead me down the right path. Ive done some googling..but nothing that tells me the params I need. Im only pretending to know what Im doing, but I promise that I put in a lot of effort...*searching for the documented efforts of those that do..and worshipping as I meander =)
Thanks.

If you are in a Iframe in a center panel try "window.parent.print"
