View Full Version : implement sencha.io src into wordpress

Hi all,

I wasn't sure where to post a question about Sencha.io Src. I didn't see that it had its own forum. Apologies in advance!

the api looks like it should be super easy to set up. and i found this sample link in an old post via the search function:

image loads, like i was expecting.

i'm trying to implement sencha.io src into wordpress and have finally managed to get wordpress code to add

http://src.sencha.io/ before the src

so i get this

which looks like it is set up correctly, but leads me to a broken link! i apologize for such a bone-headed question (b/c i know how much they annoy me in the forum i moderate)

is there something further i must do to get this to work? thanks!

edit: idk what it was but it works now. thanks!

Glad it's working. You're doing it all right. Perhaps a cache issue?

could have been? i'm not going to think too deeply about it. ;) but it works, so yay! is there any way to figure out how much bandwidth is saved by serving the images from sencha? how do i gage the performance benefit? thanks!

Only manually - by comparing file sizes on the client. I wonder if we could provide some sort of diagnostic service... hmm....

good to know. i don't actually have any mobile browsers and wouldn't know how to check the size on them anyway. a diagnostic would be cool as it is hard to sell the benefit of using the src .io w/o knowing what they are in measurable terms

added http://src.sencha.io/http://guilhermevelloso.com.br/Clientes/cardeal/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/auto6.jpg but is not working. When I open the site in iphone it continues with extrapolatingthe image. :-/
Sorry for the English, but I'm from Brazil.
