I've searched everywhere trying to find resources on how to get rid of this gap.... This is happening on a NestedList inside of a TabPanel... using the latest version of sencha touch (downloaded yesterday) with default css and everything from sencha touch download, no modifications have been made besides setting up the mvc structure.

I've tried:

padding: 0,
style: 'padding:0px;margin: 0px;left: 0px; top: 0px;',
bodyStyle: 'padding:0px;margin: 0px;left: 0px; top: 0px;',
layout: 'fit',
fullscreen: true,
layout: {
align: 'stretch'
},

/:)

and probably everything else, on every component imaginable, and Im still seeing

style="top: 17px; left: 17px;"
inside of the element in the source code...

any help, direction or anything would be greatly appreciated!

Set layout: 'card' and fullscreen: true on the tabpanel, then in nested list

width: '100%',
height: '100%',

and remove any cls or styling on the tabpanel

Ok, actually, that actually worked, I had:

defaults: {
styleHtmlContent: true,
}

setting that to false, seemed to resolve my issues! Thanks for your response! I was fixing to give up on sencha .... lol ;)
